LEAD with EMPATHY was created to guide organizations through a series of interactive discussions focused on inclusivity, diversity & empowerment, leading to the development of an organizational action plan for change.

What are the core concepts?

This program serves as a great introduction to begin addressing DEI topics through an empathetic leadership lens. The program focuses on providing general DEI definitions then, walking participants through an in-depth analysis that leads toward the creation of specific, measurable goals around identified areas of improvement for DEI.

Who is this program geared for?

This program is for district admin, board members, certified staff, classified staff, middle school and high school students. ELA can provide participants with certificates for CEU credits, upon request.

How long is the program?

The program is typically 10-hours in length for admin/board, 6 to 8-hours for staff, and 8, 45-minute sessions for students.

What is the program cost?

The program cost is dependent on number of participants and sessions. For district administrators/board with about 40 participants, an average cost is about $12,000.

What program materials are included?

Schools receive access to a resource guide online which includes all program data from the analysis work that is done in programs, access to PowerPoints, videos, and the curriculum guide handout that is used during the program. We also provide an impact report that is created based on the pre/post-survey.
