How Can You Observe National Volunteer Week?
April 1, 2023
National Volunteer Week was celebrated from April 16-22, 2023. It features inspiring people who are making an impact on our communities and our world. The celebration was established in 1974 and gives those of us in the non-profit world an opportunity to say thank you while challenging each of us to look for ways to continue to be active in our communities.
How can you observe National Volunteer Week?
- Get involved: look around your community to see how you can lend support
- Spread the word: Already volunteer? Share your story with others around you and on social media
- Say thank you: Let those who volunteer know how appreciated they are and the importance of their work
