Camp lead: amazing chase: Global conquest

Pack your passports! This high-energy leadership camp takes adventure to a whole new level! In Amazing Chase: Global Quest, campers “journey” around the world, diving into fast-paced, culturally themed challenges that test their problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration skills. From negotiating international business deals to tackling global challenges, each day brings new destinations and bold missions that require strategic thinking and cross-cultural teamwork. As they race from continent to continent, campers will develop advanced leadership skills, learn how to navigate diverse perspectives, and discover what it takes to lead on a global scale.

This year, we have two Camp LEAD sessions—one on the West Side and one on the East Side.

Amazing Chase: Global Quest

Below is a detailed overview of the 2026 Camp Lead Amazing Chase: Global Quest daily activities. You can also download a complete 2026 PDF Overview.

Day #1

Beginning the Adventure

Camp LEAD: Amazing Chase kicks off with energy as campers meet their competitors, form teams, and prepare for a week of adventure and discovery. Through fun teambuilding and icebreaker activities, they build connections, get their “passports” ready, and set GO SMART goals before embarking on their first challenge, traveling to Washington, D.C. for a lively White House Party!  Along the way, campers learn to travel with purpose by choosing a learner mindset, making great first impressions, and embracing change. With limited supplies and unlimited creativity, they learn to think outside the box and support one another, setting the tone for a transformative week of teamwork, confidence, and leadership.

objectives:
Choosing a success mindset
Making a good first impression
Thinking outside the box
Keeping an open mind
Setting GO SMART goals
Day #2

Journey Through Egypt - Discovering Team Strengths

The adventure continues as campers “travel” to Egypt for an unforgettable day along the Nile! The journey begins with the thrilling Nile River Crossing Challenge, where teams test their creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills to navigate the waters together. As they mine for “diamonds” and design a transportation system to protect their precious stones, campers learn to adapt to change and think outside the box.

Throughout the day, the focus turns inward, exploring personal strengths, weaknesses, and areas for growth. Campers reflect on how they contribute to their team’s success while setting and refining their own goals for the week. By embracing change and understanding team dynamics, they gain deeper insight into themselves and one another, preparing for the adventures that lie ahead.

objectives:
Embracing change
Exploring team dynamics
Day #3

Journey Through Asia - Overcoming Obstacles & Rising Together

Today’s adventure takes campers to bustling Hong Kong, where teamwork and creativity are put to the test. From the fast-paced Chopsticks Challenge to solving real-world problems like transporting water to crowded areas and helping China save the Giant Pandas, teams work together to think critically and act with purpose.

The journey then continues to Base Camp in the Himalayas, where challenges escalate as campers navigate injuries, support one another, and push through adversity. Through reflection and teamwork, they assess their personal goals, identify growth opportunities, and discover the power of perseverance in overcoming obstacles.

objectives:
Practicing active listening
Strengthening teamwork
Engaging in creative problem-solving
Overcoming obstacles with resilience
Day #4

European Expedition - Communicating with Confidence & Creativity

Campers jet off to Europe for a day packed with energy, imagination, and expression! The adventure begins in Paris, where teams design bold creations for a dazzling fashion show before racing to Italy to deliver pizzas through gridlocked streets. Along the way, they capture the beauty of their travels through art, learning to see and share the world from new perspectives.

As the day winds down, campers face a surprise challenge, packing for the next leg of their journey during a power outage! In the process, they practice staying calm, clear, and connected under pressure. Before heading to Australia, each camper revisits their personal goals, celebrating progress and identifying next steps toward self-improvement.

objectives:
Practicing effective communication
Demonstrating active listening
Using body language with purpose
Communicating with clarity
Developing awareness of tone and its impact
Day #5

Return from Down Under - Reflecting & Celebrating Success

The final leg of the Amazing Chase takes campers to Australia for one last burst of adventure before returning home. After reflecting on their journey, the challenges overcome, the goals achieved, and the lessons learned, campers hit the slopes for an unforgettable “Australian skiing” experience that tests balance, teamwork, and communication. As they prepare their final travel paperwork, they face an unexpected twist: a spirited challenge from the Australian Rugby Team while waiting at the airport!

Back in the USA, the journey concludes with celebration and recognition. Campers honor their teammates’ strengths, reflect on their personal growth, and celebrate the power of collaboration, resilience, and leadership that defined their global adventure.

objectives:
Reinforcing effective communication
Engaging is self-reflection
Recognizing and appreciating others' strengths
