Turning Potential into Performance

A community of
engaged
& inspired leaders

Our mission is to help people develop their most valuable asset-themselves. Through a variety of hands-on, engaging activities our students and educators take a “journey of self-discovery” and gain essential tools for success along the way.

Why Effective Leadership Academy?

21st Century Skills

Students encounter unique challenges in this time of rapid change. A growing number of studies link social competency to one’s likelihood of success. The timeless skills that ELA teaches, such as time management, goal-setting, and outside-the-box thinking lay the groundwork for resilience, future employment, productivity and achievement.

Early Social & Emotional Development is Key

A Duke University study found early soft-skill development dramatically increases students’ chances of graduating high school, obtaining a college degree and securing a full-time job by the age of 24. Our programs engage students at a pivotal point in their development and provide them with the tools they need to hone these skills. (Isakson & Jarvis, 1999)
